Today has been awesome. I have found what can only be described as being the coolest App ever and its designed by Microsoft. Who knew?
The brilliant app in question is the Photosynth. It looks like an ordinary photo stitching app but you will soon discover that this is so much more. After you take a series of photos to stitch, it will automatically create a 3D Panoramic image that you can navigate through.
This App was released on the 16th April this year and has already amassed 1507 ratings through the App Store. What really is impressive is that it has a 5 star rating with hardly any negative feed back. Never seen that before.
As a very quick and easy example I was at a Social Media Keynote this morning and was a bit early. I ended up making a simple Photosynth image to share with you. Go here to see it.
I have not been able to check out all the features of this app yet but what I have seen has already impressed me hugely.
This App gets the LL nod of approval.

I downloaded this app last week and I am not that impressed. So it stitches some pics big deal.

Why do people always put an alias when they comment negatively on a blog. @not to good – why go to all the effort to day this app sucks? Just dont comment. By the way this app is great and you are an asshole.

I’m an asshole for not liking an App? My comment would not have been allowed if the editor thought that I was being offensive. I can say what I want. Free country and all. And you sir can’t seem to spell.

Thanks for the comment. I agree with you when it comes to using name on comments good or bad. I do not agree with your use of language though. Let’s not call each other names.

Calm down kids! This is just about an App. Yes it just stitches pics together but it also creates a panoramic view of those images that can be navigated. It’s pretty cool. Oh and @not so good – WTF
