It seems that Prince Philip’s golden tongue has struck again. Yesterday while on a Diamond Jubilee Tour walkabout with the Queen in Bromley, Prince Philip commented on a council workers bright red dress. As he walked past Hannah, 25, he turned to a policeman and muttered a comment that only he heard.

After the policeman could not stop laughing he was asked what was said to him. He said that Prince Philip remarked: “I would get arrested if I unzipped that dress!” An onlooker in Bromley, South London, said: “It was one of Prince Philip’s classics.
When asked about the remark, she replied: “I’m not sure what to say.” The council would not comment. I don’t think that she could have been to offended but obviously the feminist activists are all over this one. Christine Quigley tweeted:
Ladies, do you regard this as being sexist or just funny coming from an old geezer like Prince Philip?

I wouldn’t be offended. He is just a quirky old man.
